The power of challenges, change and Christmas

Whether you can believe it or not, Christmas is nearly here! I know for many, including myself, this has been a challenging year, where you may have been placed in a unwanted situation, forcing you to adapt, grow and reassess.

Despite the challenges, this year has provided me with many gifts - even more gratitude, being given the opportunity to truly live by my values and beliefs every day and the gift of increased connection to myself, that I didn’t think was possible as I thought I was already there! What gifts has this year given to you? What have you learnt from your challenges?

The Christmas break brings the year to an end and other things. It can bring family and friends together, it can bring laughter and tears, and it brings the opportunity to let go of 2019 and courageously and calmly breathe our way into a brighter 2020.

To help you feel calm, grateful and hopeful this Christmas and to let go of any stresses of 2019, I wanted to share my simple, effective tapping tool with you.

Move from unwanted stress or overwhelm to calm and clarity

  • Have one hand with the palm upwards and with the other hand use three fingers to tap gently on the area of your wrist where your watch strap would go.

  • Whilst tapping in that area, breathe in positive feelings you would like to feel, like calmness and clarity, and breathe out negative emotions, like stress or overwhelm. Make the exhale longer as this also has a calming effect on the body.

If you would like 2020 to be the year when you finally find more effective ways to connect to yourself, feel calm and maximise the power of each breath, then it would be great to see you at our Tap and Breathe your way to Balance afternoon event on 25th January. I am co-hosting it with a wonderful yoga teacher and we will expertly bring together powerful and effective tapping tools, breathing techniques and relaxing yoga to help you find the balance you crave for 2020.

Call me now on 07966 502611 for details and to book now as early bird price of £55 finishes on 20th December! Further details are available at https://www.optimalvitality.co.uk/events

Wishing you all a calm Christmas, full of hope and courage for 2020!
